Standard & Poor’s 500 Index futures expiring in September added 0.20 point to 1,024.40.
    AMR Corp. (AMR US): The company’s American Airlines unit said its June load factor was 86.8 percent, an increase of 1.6 points from a year earlier. Traffic increased 3.2 percent, the company said.
    EMC Corp. (EMC US): The world’s biggest maker of storage computers agreed to acquire Greenplum Inc., a closely held provider of data warehousing technology, for an undisclosed amount.
    JA Solar Holdings Co. (JASO US): The Chinese maker of solar cells and modules said it will buy Shanghai Jinglong Solar Technology Co. from Chairman Baofang Jin for $29.3 million.
    Lockheed Martin Corp. (LMT US): The world’s largest defense contractor was awarded a $522 million contract from the U.S. for long-lead efforts and materials associated with the production and delivery of 42 low-rate initial production Lot V F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft, according to a statement on the Defense Department web site.
    US Airways Group Inc. (LCC US): The airline reported that its passenger revenue per available seat mile rose 22 percent in June.
